The University of North Dakota’s Tech Accelerator Building is full of endless opportunities. The start-up facility for small companies provided new and up-and-coming businesses with a space to establish their brand before purchasing a space of their own. The building’s occupants were anticipated to change frequently as each grew and moved on. The space was engineered and built to accommodate these changes and allow for easy adjustments, hookups and modifications.  

Along with its multi-purpose space, restaurant and food areas, offices, a public meeting room, the Tech Accelerator Building also includes a vivarium. The special feature gives companies and students the opportunity to develop research. The facility was also the first and only biocontainment BSL-3and BSL-3E facility in the area.
