Giving Back to the Community

PCL has a family culture that encourages a generous spirit because as owners and entrepreneurs, PCL employees believe it’s a shared responsibility to build healthy and strong communities.
Since the 1960’s, PCL has partnered with United Way to help transform lives of those in the community and provide support to families and individuals living in poverty. Employees, together with PCL’s corporately matched charitable contributions, raise millions of dollars for United Way and member organizations throughout North America. In addition to the support of the United Way, PCL is proud to continue its important relationship with the American Red Cross. Since the beginning of the partnership in 2011, PCL’s total charitable contributions to the humanitarian agencies have reached $1.5 million across North America.
PCL is also a proud supporter of Habitat for Humanity and has donated more than $1.5 million to support the organization. PCL employees can often be found volunteering their personal time at Habitat builds throughout the United States.

PCL is committed to promoting stewardship of land and resources today for a greener tomorrow. PCL continues to demonstrate economic, social, and environmental sustainability by increasing efficiencies, reducing carbon emissions, exhibiting leadership in training and education, and enhancing overall quality of life for communities.
