Denver, CO (September 10, 2015) – Lucas Mallory, manager of Special Projects for PCL Construction Services, Inc. in Denver, has been selected as one of Building Design and Construction’s 40 Under 40.
Building Design and Construction magazine is a monthly trade publication that focuses on the needs of architects, engineers, contractors, and owner firms in the nonresidential construction industry. For eight years this prestigious award has recognized outstanding young professionals in the construction and architecture industries for their commitment to the industry, their professions, and charitable work.

“PCL has afforded me tremendous opportunities to take on new challenges at every stage in my career,” said Lucas Mallory. “I’m honored to be recognized for this award on behalf of those that supported and mentored me along the way.”

In his 10 years with PCL, Lucas worked his way from a project manager, to business development manager, and is now manager of Special Projects. During this time he earned the prestigious company-wide Robert Stollery Construction Leadership Award for his positive attitude and strength in leadership. In his first two years as manager of Special Projects, Lucas grew the division three-fold, expanding into new market areas and clients. The term Special Projects is used to designate specialized projects with contract values between $100,000 and $10 million. He graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering and was named one of the Top 25 Young Professionals in 2014 by the ColoradoBiz magazine.
