PCL Construction Awarded Upgrades to Water Treatment Plant in South Florida

Tampa, FL (May 16, 2019) – PCL Construction has been awarded the Lake Manatee Ultra Filtration Membrane Process Upgrade project in Tampa, valued at $50.7 million.
 

This project will replace the existing water filtration system with more advanced filtration technology that will improve water filtration levels that are required by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.

“PCL is excited to be part of this project that will continue to feed fresh drinking water to the surrounding community,” said Mike McKinney, PCL’s Water Infrastructure Group’s vice president and district manager. “We are proud to be part of this project and partner with Manatee County.”
