Edmonton – North American Headquarters

Edmonton, AB (February 17, 2017) – PCL Construction is pleased to announce a $20,000 sponsorship at the Art Gallery of Alberta (AGA).

Fischli and Weiss/Ibghy and Lemmens is a two-film exhibition that brings together “two moving images works, created decades apart, that seem to tell two sides of a story—a story of human ingenuity, industry, and aspiration—as well as our enthrallment with success and the inevitability of failure” (AGA website). The exhibit runs from February 18 to June 18, 2017.

PCL and the AGA

PCL’s ongoing support of the AGA includes being the presenting sponsor of The Bequest: Ernest E. Poole and the AGA Collection (2013) and The Poole Centre of Design (2015).

The Poole Centre of Design is made possible by a generous donation from the John and Barbara Poole Family Fund, through the Edmonton Community Foundation. John and Barbara Poole were great patrons of the arts who believed in engaging people of all walks of life in art and design. The AGA is honored to continue their legacy through the Poole Centre of Design.
