receive the Honor Award from the American Public Works Association (APWA) for
the Cesar Chavez Parking Structure.
design-build, four-level, cast-in-place parking structure includes 320 parking
spaces, 4,000 square feet of rooftop-level solar panels, and several large
exterior murals. It serves the Cesar Chavez Continuing Education Center, which
brings together hundreds of working-class students into the Barrio Logan
community of San Diego every day.
