San Diego, CA (March 23, 2016) – PCL Construction is honored
to have been given the Outstanding Community Contributor Award for the Cesar
Chavez Parking Structure in San Diego.
The design-build, four-level, cast-in-place parking structure
includes 320 parking spaces and 4,000 square feet of rooftop-level solar
panels, and several large exterior murals. It serves the Cesar Chavez
Continuing Education Center, which brings hundreds of working-class students
into the Barrio Logan community of San Diego every day.

are proud to support Barrio Station and help capture the personality and
culture of the community in this meaningful project.”
PCL was honored with the award at the Barrio Station’s 46th
Anniversary Benefit Dinner on March 3, 2016.
