Phoenix, AZ (July 21, 2016) – Lourdes Lopez, project engineer with PCL’s Water Infrastructure Group in Phoenix, was named one of Arizona’s Most Influential Women in Commercial Real Estate by AZ Big Media.
The awards program recognizes 12 women in Arizona for their outstanding contributions to advancing their industry and bettering their communities.

Lourdes states her greatest piece of advice to others is to “try something that intimidates you. It has the potential to mold you into a better version of yourself. My greatest learning experiences have taken place when I stepped outside of my own comfort zone.”

Lourdes began her career at PCL as an intern in 2006 and is currently a project engineer on the Union Hills Water Treatment Plant Solids Handling Improvements in Phoenix, Arizona. She is the president of the Greater Phoenix Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) and chair of the AZ Water Association Young Professionals Committee.

This is the second industry leadership award won by Lourdes, having received Engineering News-Record Southwest’s Top 20 Under 40 award in January 2016.
