PCL Wins Outstanding Partner Award at Commonwealth Sport Summit

Edmonton, AB (October 7, 2016) – PCL Construction is pleased to announce that it has been selected as the first recipient of the Outstanding Partner Award from Commonwealth Games Canada, at the Commonwealth Sport Summit.

The Commonwealth Sport Summit is a gathering of over 400 world and Canadian Commonwealth sport leaders who come together to share, learn, network, and move the global Commonwealth sport movement forward. Among the special guests and speakers attending this year’s Commonwealth Sport Summit were the Honorable Carla Qualtrough, Canada’s Minister of Sport, and HRH Prince Edward, vice-patron of the Commonwealth Games.

PCL has supported Commonwealth Games Canada since 2002 and has raised over two million dollars through various fundraising events, such as its annual Commonwealth Games golf tournament.

PCL is honored to be the first recipient of this new award. It was presented to PCL’s President, Western Canada, Kris Hildebrand at the Chateau Lacombe hotel in Edmonton during the 2016 Commonwealth Sport Summit.
