The PCL family of companies is pleased to announce that Mike Headrick, district manager, and Mike Schafer, superintendent, from PCL Construction Services, Inc. (Minneapolis) have been honored with a Patriot Award from the Minnesota Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR).
Nominated by PCL’s very own Sergeant First Class Jon Stoeckman, Mike and Mike received this award in recognition of PCL’s extraordinary support of its employees who serve in the National Guard and Reserve.
“To continue service in the Guard, I have needed some flexibility in my schedule to get to training sites in various parts of the country,” said Jon Stoeckman, superintendent. “I just really wanted to show my appreciation for all of the support from Mike Headrick and Mike Schafer.”
The first in ESGR’s series of awards, the Patriot Award reflects the efforts made to support service members through a wide-range of measures including flexible schedules, time off prior to and after deployment, caring for families, and granting leaves of absence if necessary.
