FILTER PROJECTS BY

Cargill Color Sorter Addition, Moose Jaw

Project Overview

The Cargill project involved the construction of a 20-foot, steel-framed structure on the existing plant site for the addition of a new color sorter, drag conveyors, cartridge filters and associated electrical can controls, and building mechanical.

PCL installed specialty grain-sorting equipment such as drag and screw conveyors, cyclones, electric probe grain sorter, 3000 CFM cartridge filter, and two colour sorters. All necessary processing piping and equipment controls were also installed.

The project included a preassembled 53-foot steel structure to provide access to the bucket elevator service platform.

The new building is adjacent to an existing concrete silo house. This site was active during construction, and crews used careful planning to prevent disruption to Cargill's ongoing operations.
