FILTER PROJECTS BY

Clavet Pelletizing Project, Third Pelletizing Line

Project Overview

The latest enhancement to the Cargill’s Canola Crushing facility in Clavet, Saskatchewan, is the addition of a third line of pelletizing equipment that converts canola meal to nutrient-rich fertilizer pellets, for transportation to feed processing facilities.

Along with this new equipment and the associated structural-steel and electrical works, PCL built and installed a free-standing motor control center room that will centrally direct and regulate plant operations. The motor control center was prefabricated in a controlled and isolated warehouse environment off-site, to allow continual monitoring of this electrical assembly while it was under construction. Structural supports and the foundation for the motor control center were then built in place.
