Keynote is Calgary’s largest mixed-use development. It includes 230,000 square feet of office space; 40,000 square feet of retail; 429 residential units; and an 18,000-square-foot green space on the Plus15 level. Four levels of parkade below grade are met by ground retail, second-floor retail, and amenity space with a terrace garden. All components are harmoniously integrated by a shared podium and interior plaza, making Keynote a shining example for metropolitan developments in Calgary.
The ownership group was concerned about the varying quality, spec standards, and warranties required by office, retail, and condo ownership. PCL was able to satisfy both owners and users of these varying groups, finishing on time and on budget.
The 14-story office tower has been leased by the prestigious, full-service international engineering firm CH2M Hill, which became a client of PCL’s after seeing the work PCL performed on the rest of the site.
