The new nine-story, 180-room, 280,000-square-foot Mystic Lake Hotel and Convention Center is taking event and hospitality up a notch in Minnesota. Completed in December 2017, the new convention center and hotel have already hosted a variety of events, including a 2,000-person New Year’s Eve celebration and numerous Super Bowl LII concerts, as well as private community and company events.
The center features a stunning floor-to-ceiling glass entrance that welcomes guests and overlooks the Meadows at Mystic Lake Golf Course. This 70,000-square-foot convention center is divided into various spaces and, with its new industrial-sized kitchen, can serve 3,000 guests. The center features three large ballrooms that can be broken into smaller areas. Each room is outfitted with state-of-the art audiovisual and networking technology, including custom programming that can be controlled from anywhere in the facility through the use of iPads. In addition to the larger ballrooms, an executive conference room is located on the third level and offers sweeping views of the golf course.
The nine-story hotel tower, called The Promenade, features 180 rooms including 18 suites, all with spectacular views of the Meadows Golf Course. Each room comes with luxury finishes, modern amenities, and advanced technology such as wireless Bluetooth speakers in the bathroom mirrors.
The new addition makes Mystic Lake the second-largest hotel in the Twin Cities, with a total of 766 rooms.
