FILTER PROJECTS BY

P & H Viking Fertilizer Plant

Project Overview

Parrish & Heimbecker (P&H) is a family-owned Canadian agribusiness company founded in 1909. The Viking, Alberta, fertilizer storage and blending facility, proudly designed and built by PCL, is the largest of its kind in P&H's fleet. Incoming bulk product can be received at 300 metric tons per hour via a 150-car rail loop track or by truck. Blending is accomplished with a declining weight system capable of shipping at 300 metric tons per hour.

PCL’s contract included the design and construction of the concrete storage and blending facility complete with all conveying and blending equipment. PCL worked closely with P&H’s electrical and fabric building contractors to successfully deliver this project safely and on time.
