This renovation project served to upgrade two imaging department rooms for new equipment. It was the first part of the Castle Medical Center’s ambitious renovation program.
Work included the removal and reinstallation of floor track systems and new Unistrut support systems. New electrical feeds and associated distribution were also added. Architectural finishes were upgraded, and lead-lined walls were patched where penetrations had occurred.
The aggressive schedule was less than a week long, and work was to take place during the day in the center of the hospital. The PCL project team focused on solid infection control and noise control measures to ensure compliance with hospital and joint-commission requirements.
