This project consists of jacking I-75 northbound and southbound bridges at 53 piers and replacing the existing pot bearings. Each bridge spans 8,100 feet and will require shutting down one bridge at a time to replace the bearings, repair the bridge deck and railings, perform electrical work, and completely cover the deck surface with a friction course. The project consists of two phases, with the southbound bridge work completed in November 2013 and the northbound bridge work scheduled to begin in April 2014.
