When PCL Construction broke ground on Denver International Airport’s Jeppesen Terminal in 1991, it marked the start of something extraordinary.
At 1.7 million square feet, the seven-level terminal and its iconic white roof reshaped Denver’s skyline and set new standards for innovation and craftsmanship. Completed in 1994, it remains one of our most historic projects — a symbol of what’s possible when vision and performance come together.
On October 2023, Denver International Airport announced the site for its future Consolidated Rental Car Facility (ConRAC), a strategic step to meet projected passenger volumes of 120+ million annually by 2045. The facility will reduce DEN’s carbon footprint, improve customer experience and accessibility, and stabilize a critical program that contributes to airport revenue. After evaluating multiple options, DEN selected the employee lot along 78th Avenue — north of Peña Boulevard and east of Jackson Gap — as the site that offers the greatest benefits for future growth.
The future ConRAC will serve as a one-stop shop for all rental car companies, providing covered, accessible, and streamlined service for passengers. Currently, DEN’s rental car program uses 12,760 parking spaces, but with anticipated growth, the airport will require 16,130 spaces — a 26% increase.
