Seattle, WA (June 21, 2021) – PCL Construction Services, Inc. is pleased to announce that Christopher Murdoch is promoted to chief estimator in Seattle for work in the Pacific Northwest.

Fueled by curiosity and enthusiasm, Christopher relishes each day as both a challenge and an opportunity and is continuously seeking out new and innovative ways to bring the best value to our clients and partners.

“Christopher has rapidly advanced his role at PCL and has been instrumental in incorporating new technology into our estimating process while creating meaningful dialogue and providing long-term solutions to our clients,” said Tyler Kautz, Seattle’s district manager.

Christopher is a Seattle native and graduated from University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science degree in construction management. He has worked on several projects throughout the state, including Olympic Tower, the Cielo apartment community and numerous airport projects at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Christopher also served as the lead estimator on the Locomotive Service Facility at the Amtrak Seattle King Street Coach Yard, which received numerous project awards from ENR Northwest, the Washington Aggregates & Concrete Association, and the Northwest Construction Consumer Council.

In addition to being rooted in the Pacific Northwest, Christopher is an active member of the community. He is a properties commission board member for his church and has also been involved with Community for Youth, United Way and his own recently launched foundation, Revolution Root Cause. The organization’s mission is to engage youth in the community through mentorship and leveraging community resources.
