SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (October 29, 2025) — PCL Construction, Inc. received the inaugural Bob Beck Community Partner Award at the One Treasure Island Gala on October 16^th, recognizing its exceptional commitment to the Treasure Island community through partnership, service and impact.

The award, named in honor of Beck’s decade-long commitment to the island and his influential work with the Treasure Island Development Authority, celebrates organizations, businesses and corporations that have gone above and beyond in supporting One Treasure Island’s initiatives and contributing to the community’s well-being.

“Tonight, we're recognizing PCL for exhibiting consistent supportive engagement with One Treasure Island and the Treasure Island community, for showing up without being asked, and for partnering with One Treasure Island without expectation of recognition or reward,” said Bob Beck, who presented the award.

Through its Social Impact Partnership program, PCL has donated $1.18 million and, together with design-build partner Stantec, contributed 4,200 volunteer hours to local education and nonprofit organizations, including One Treasure Island. The company’s support extends to sustainable development efforts, highlighted by this Envision Platinum Award-winning project — a status that recognizes excellence in sustainable civil infrastructure projects.

PCL is currently building the new Treasure Island Water Resource Recovery Facility, a design-build project that will replace aging infrastructure and meet the island’s wastewater and recycled water needs.
