DENVER, Colorado (Sept. 9, 2025) — Great Place To Work® and Fortune have selected PCL Construction for the 2025 Fortune Best Workplaces in Construction™ List. This is PCL’s third time being named to this prestigious list, this year coming in at 5th place.
The Best Workplaces in Construction award is based on analysis of survey responses from nearly 54,000 employees at Great Place To Work Certified™ companies in the construction industry.
"Being named to the Best Workplaces in Construction list again reflects the strength of our employee-owned culture and the values we live every day,” said Deron Brown, PCL president and chief operating officer, U.S. operations. “At PCL, our people are empowered to shape their careers, contribute to meaningful projects, and foster a workplace where everyone feels respected and included. This recognition is a direct result of their dedication and the inclusive environment we continue to build together."
The Best Workplaces in Construction list is highly competitive. Great Place To Work, the global authority on workplace culture, determines its lists using its proprietary Trust Index™ Survey to evaluate and certify thousands of organizations in America’s largest ongoing annual workforce
study, based on over 1.3 million survey responses and data from companies representing more than 8.4 million employees.
Survey responses reflect a comprehensive picture of the workplace experience. Honorees were selected based on their ability to offer positive outcomes for employees regardless of job role, race, gender, sexual orientation, work status, or other demographic identifier.
“Congratulations to the Best Workplaces in Construction,” says Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place To Work. “In every industry, our research shows that investing in people drives productivity and higher revenues. When trust levels are high in an organization, people don’t fear AI — they embrace it.”
Earlier this year, PCL Construction was also recognized by Great Place To Work® and Fortune® magazine as one of the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For® 2025.
