Seattle, WA  (June 10, 2021) – The PCL family of companies is pleased to announce that Tyler Kautz is promoted to district manager for PCL Construction Services, Inc. in Seattle, overseeing all operations in the Pacific Northwest.

Accomplished and steadfast, Tyler is laying the foundation for success in Seattle. As a Marine Corp veteran, Tyler instills those successful and lasting traits into his teams at PCL and believes that success comes when we invest in those we work with.

Tyler began his PCL career in 2005 as an intern while serving on the active reserves as a U.S. Marine. In 2007 Tyler joined PCL full-time after serving a one-year tour in Iraq. He has worked on notable projects throughout the Seattle area, including the Bravern Condominiums, Chief Joseph Fish Hatchery, SPIRE, the Factoria Recycling and Transfer Station and the South Link 200 Extension, as well as overseeing the $100 million Statewide Library, Archive & Museum project in Juneau, Alaska.

Born and raised in Snohomish, Tyler is deeply rooted in the Puget Sound Community.

Tyler graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science degree in construction management and serves on the University’s Construction Industry Advisory Council for the construction management program. In addition to having local roots, Tyler is heavily involved in giving back to his community through volunteering his time as a board delegate to his church as well as Habitat for Humanity, United Way, Toys for Tots, and Food Lifeline.
