DENVER (September 16, 2025) – PCL Construction Services, Inc. is proud to be recognized in Engineering News-Record’s (ENR) 2025 Regional Best Projects and Excellence in Safety & Sustainability competitions, earning a total of eight awards nationwide. The diversity and impact of these projects reflect PCL’s commitment to delivering meaningful work across a wide range of communities. These honors reflect the outstanding achievements of PCL’s teams in delivering high-quality, innovative, and community-focused projects across the country.

ENR’s annual Best Projects program is one of the industry’s most prestigious award platforms.  An independent panel of architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) experts reviewed over 200 entries nationwide. Judges evaluated each project based on its ability to overcome challenges, contributions to the industry and community, safety performance, and construction and design quality.

Alaska Airlines LAX Terminal 6 Redevelopment       

Best Project – Airport/Transit

This transformative redevelopment at Los Angeles International Airport modernized Terminal 6 to enhance passenger experience and operational efficiency. The project team successfully navigated complex logistics in an active airport environment, delivering a high-performing, sustainable facility on schedule.

Excellence in Safety – Award of Merit 

Delivered in just 24 months on a fast-track schedule, this design-build project in Orange County showcases PCL’s technical expertise with thoughtful, efficient design. This multifunctional campus supports advanced lab environments, emergency response operations, and wellness-focused workspaces.

Clackamas County Circuit Courthouse   

Two awards: Best Project – Government/Public Building and Award of Merit – Excellence in Safety Award

Oregon’s first courthouse delivered through a public-private partnership highlights a unified “One Team” approach that prioritizes sustainability, transparency, and innovation. Targeting LEED Gold certification, the facility features all-electric systems and thoughtfully designed secure, accessible spaces.

Altru New Hospital                                                                                               

Two awards: Award of Merit – Healthcare and Excellence in Safety Award

This state-of-the-art hospital in Grand Forks, ND, is dedicated to elevating patient care and is fully equipped with a high-performing, future-ready healthcare environment. It exemplifies sustainable design, offering advanced medical technologies and private patient rooms to enhance comfort and efficiency.
