Minneapolis, MN (July 27, 2021) – PCL Construction is pleased to announce that Trent Johnson is promoted to district manager, overseeing operations in the Midwest.

As a construction professional with a quarter century of industry experience, Trent understands all aspects of construction, from estimating and preconstruction through project management.

“Trent brings with him an inherent understanding of the entire project lifecycle and strives to bring value added to every project undertaken,” said Deron Brown, president and COO, U.S. Operations. “His vast experience in the Midwest construction market makes him a valuable leader to Minneapolis.”

Trent began his career with PCL in 2000 as an estimator in Minneapolis. He has led several departments for PCL’s Minneapolis office, including preconstruction, estimating and operations as well as leading PCL’s Special Projects group which provides specialized and customized solutions on projects typically under $15 million. Trent has been involved in major projects throughout the Midwest for hospitality/gaming, aviation, manufacturing and higher education clients.

He holds an Associate of Science degree in architectural drafting and estimating from North Dakota State College of Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from North Dakota State University.
