As the leader of PCL’s Special Projects division in Seattle, Davis Heeter plays a pivotal role in shaping the group’s strategic direction and operational success. A graduate of Washington State University with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, he was drawn to the construction industry for its tangible outcomes and ever-evolving challenges, qualities that continue to fuel his passion today.

Heeter began his career with PCL as a college intern, laying the foundation for a long-term connection to the company. After gaining valuable experience with other firms in Las Vegas and Chicago, he returned to PCL and the Northwest market, fulfilling a long-standing professional goal. His decision was driven by a strong alignment with PCL’s employee ownership model and collaborative culture, which fosters an environment where employees are deeply invested in both their work and their teams.

In his current role, Heeter leads the Special Projects division in the Northwest market, overseeing business development, strategic pursuits, project delivery and team management. He is particularly focused on the aviation, transportation, commercial and multifamily markets. 

Heeter is also passionate about developing the next generation of industry leaders. Under his guidance, the Seattle Special Projects team has launched an initiative encouraging team members to engage with industry organizations, build meaningful relationships and grow into market sector leaders. Clients benefit from this relationship-first mindset as well. A 2024 renovation of Metropolitan Tower’s amenity spaces and corridors, completed while the building remained fully occupied, highlighted the team’s ability to manage complex logistics and deliver high-quality results with minimal disruption.
