With nearly four decades of experience in the construction industry, Marlon Garces brings exceptional technical expertise to his role as field construction manager at Nordic PCL Construction. Garces manages all field staff for several projects simultaneously, conducting regular site visits to ensure seamless execution. He plays a critical role in maintaining project timetables, ensuring budgets are met and verifying compliance with all safety regulations. He serves as a key liaison between construction crews and clients, guaranteeing that project quality meets expectations while fostering collaboration among construction staff and hourly field workers to drive progress effectively. 

 

In addition to leading field operations, Garces is deeply involved in the hiring and development of field personnel and superintendents, ensuring that teams are equipped with the skills and leadership needed for success. He reviews project schedules, evaluates construction methodologies for major projects, and maintains essential relationships with trade unions while working closely with the operations manager to optimize efficiency. Garces also provides vital support to Nordic PCL’s estimating department, assisting in project pursuits and contributing to district initiatives that enhance job site operations.
