With more than 30 years of experience across the construction industry, Mike Betz serves as vice president and district manager for Nordic PCL Construction. In this role, he oversees district strategy, performance and client service while acting as project executive on many of the district’s most complex commercial, hospitality, healthcare, education and residential projects.
A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering, Betz has built his career on collaborative problem-solving and a disciplined approach to risk management, scheduling and cost control. Before joining Nordic PCL Construction in 2014, he spent 18 years with Charles Pankow Builders, Ltd., ultimately serving as regional vice president with responsibility for administration, business development, preconstruction, estimating and construction.
Betz is a licensed general contractor in the state of Hawai‘i and maintains several industry credentials, including LEED AP BD+C, EngineerinTraining, and active memberships with both the United States Green Building Council and the DesignBuild Institute of America. He is committed to advancing sustainable, high-performance building solutions and strong partnerships with clients, consultants and trade contractors. His steady leadership, technical expertise and market insight help Nordic PCL Construction deliver high-quality, innovative projects that support the long-term growth of communities across the islands.
