Infinity Falls™ at SeaWorld® Orlando is a tropical ruins-themed whitewater river rapids attraction. Riders board eight-person rafts and are sent splashing through a 1,600-foot-long flume that includes a dramatic drop element, the tallest drop of its kind.
The theming team collaborated with SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment and PGAV Destinations to develop the design and scope of the attraction. Given the complexity of the ride system and the detailed textures required for the surrounding rockwork and carved plaster, extensive planning and mockups were essential. The theming team’s artisans, carvers, sculptors and painters, worked closely with SeaWorld’s art direction team to hand-sculpt over 35,000 square feet of rockwork and carved plaster to capture the exotic essence of the space. From interactive waterfalls to detailed representations of caiman crocodiles, the theming team’s rockwork transforms the space into a unique, immersive environment where guests are fully engaged in the story of the river.
