Innovating in the realm of rapid delivery and modular construction, PCL prefabricated 1,800 exterior wall panels at our Toronto manufacturing facility that were then shipped to the CAMH site for safe and rapid installation using PCL’s own forces labor. Experts from our modular construction services group were engaged early in preconstruction to develop a comprehensive BIM model of the panels and then detailed shop drawings, overseeing quality control through the production process. Once on site, panels – complete with vapor barrier and punch windows – were rapidly installed, driving value to the client through enhanced quality, safety and schedule.
