Surrounded by world-class ski runs, the Whistler area is known primarily for the extraordinary skiing and snowboarding it has to offer in the winter. But it’s actually a premier destination for travelers year round. At the base of the Pacific Coast Mountain Range, Whistler is the perfect place for a leisurely walk or a full-out hike into the wilderness, and massive glaciers and picturesque lakes make it ideal for sightseeing. Plus, golfers can choose from four championship golf courses.

Four Seasons Resort Whistler, completed in 2004, is the first five-star hotel in this world-class ski destination. Located at the base of the majestic Blackcomb Mountain, the 465,000-square-foot hotel complex consists of two concrete towers connected by an underground service tunnel and a second-floor walkway.

The Residences (west tower) is six floors above grade and includes staff housing, a health and fitness center and 61 guest suites. The Hotel (east tower) is nine floors above grade and houses the main lobby, 212 suites, an extravagant porte-cochere, meeting rooms, spa, restaurants and an administration area. Two underground parking levels are located beneath the east tower.

Between the two towers sit an exterior heated pool, three hot tubs and a rock and water feature modeled after the Whistler landscape. Guests can wind down after a day of skiing, hiking, sightseeing, golfing or any other available activity they choose to partake in.

With all of the comforts of home and the kinds of amenities that only a five-star hotel can provide, Four Seasons Resort Whistler is a stellar vacation destination for couples, families and individuals alike. With so much to see and do, guests are comforted to know that when they’re done their activities for the day, they’ll return to the luxury of this stunning hotel to rest, relax and prepare for tomorrow’s adventures.

PCL feels privileged to have played such a large role in constructing this stunning hotel, giving vacationers the opportunity to explore Whistler’s offerings while calling a five-star resort “home.”
