Hillberg & Berk believes in designing unique, one-of-a-kind jewelry while empowering women to seek and achieve their dreams one sparkle at a time. Their products represent the unique way every woman shines and PCL’s Special Projects division  shared these same values. The new 800-square-foot retail store project in Midtown Plaza Mall matched the design concept of a “dream closet” with French provincial flair. Construction consisted of new walls, floors, ceiling finishes, extensive lighting, custom millwork and mirrors, built-in storage cases, and rose gold accents to achieve the right look and feel. 

A solution-provider mentality was crucial when working with Hillberg & Berk and  we aligned our structure and goals with that of the client’s view on female empowerment. Cognizant of the client’s vision to empower women through education, inspiration and opportunity, we ensured the project team featured a strong female presence, including the project manager.

Hillberg and Berk’s first Saskatoon store front opened to the public in time for the holiday shopping season and continues to see a high volume of customers.
