The Paradise Valley Interconnect project provides additional water resources to Paradise Valley from City of Phoenix water treatment facilities in central Phoenix, allowing EPCOR to access their water claims from the SRP canal without building additional water treatment infrastructure.

The project team installed, pressure tested and disinfected 11,400 feet of 24-inch ductile iron pipe through a highly traveled corridor in Paradise Valley. The installation required four jack-and-bore operations to cross under existing culverts and storm drains, and an open trench crossing of a traffic intersection that serves approximately 40,000 commuters daily. Detailed traffic control coordination ensured continued access to the numerous churches, resorts, businesses and residences along the construction route.
