Located in the heart of Toronto at the base of the CN Tower, Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada is a new world-class attraction offering visitors educational learning experiences and outstanding views of aquatic life.

The aquarium is a 140,000-square-foot attraction, with more than 1.5 million gallons of water, that depicts marine and freshwater habitats from around the world. Visitors to the facility can view over 16,000 animals (including favourites such as sharks, jellies, and green sea turtles), touch crabs and stringrays, take behind-the-scenes tours, and have an opportunity to "sleep with the sharks" during an overnight stay beneath the shark tank.

The unique, irregular shapes of the building were created through the use of curtain wall, siding, and precast concrete. The project was delivered on a tight schedule that met the owner's business model. PCL constructed the building and all support facilities, with the owner supplying some materials, including acrylic for the tanks and theming throughout the facility.
