The SaskPower Storage and Warehouse facility brings together employees across five locations into a shared, modern complex. With all employees located under one roof, SaskPower could create operational efficiencies and enable stronger collaboration between the company’s business groups.

As part of our solution provider mentality, we provided alternative piling designs based on our past experiences on site and understanding of the geotechnical report. This solution created cost savings and reduced potential impacts on the original design’s schedule and function. We also reviewed structural foundations and provided input that resulted in re-design to a smaller more applicable slab, thus creating further cost savings.

The new facility for SaskPower enables all current chemical storage to be properly housed in one area under a dedicated building.
