The St. Andrew’s Community Center is the competitor to beat. Despite new safety protocols and challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, the beautiful structure was completed on-time and on budget.

The first curveball included finding engineering options to keep the facility economical. We were thrilled to inform the City of our ability to keep the project under budget by nearly one million dollars.

When the pandemic hit, it ensued the second curveball. The project was at a critical construction point, so we increased cleaning of high-contact surfaces and added on-site sanitation stations and procedures to keep workers safe and healthy.

What makes a project standout? How about two exterior brick styles, four siding products, large curtain wall sections around the building and five roof levels? The St. Andrew’s Community Center has all this and more.

Compared to the city’s original center, this new facility includes a large kitchen for cooking classes, an indoor playground, a dance studio and a large gymnasium. Along with these fun features, it contains central heating and cooling, proper insulation, and LED lighting to help the facility save money, increase efficiency and achieve a LEED certification.
