Sunningdale 1 Solar, a 9.91 megawatt solar photovoltaic facility, is expected to produce 14.7 million kilowatt hours of electricity per year – enough to power approximately 1,400 homes in the Thorndale area.

The facility brings the local community opportunities for employment and economic growth. More than 60% of the project’s materials were made in or sourced from Ontario.

Completed in nine months, this is one of 14 solar projects we have built for Recurrent Energy, all of which are delivered under Ontario’s Feed-in Tariff program.
